~A little Info on the Jewelry Maker~
My name is Kate Rotondo. I'm a 21 year old Quebecer and I currently reside in Unity, Saskatchewan, Canada. I love making crafty things and over the last 2 years have discovered how much I enjoy making unique jewelry that no one else has, and of course I couldn't resist all of the awesome beads and stones that exist in the world!
I'm quite meticulous when it comes to making jewelry (often to the point where I'll match up the tint/shade of stones on both sides of a necklace) and I end up spending a lot of time making everything, but even beyond that and the back, hand and eye aches, it's something that I really enjoy doing (but I honestly don't know how I got myself into beading!) I also take a lot of time searching for my supplies and shop smartly, so I end up with quality beads and findings at reasonable prices. I've bought stones and beads from many different provinces and I've got hand-picked stones and shells from the shores of Florida and Scotland. My jewelry comes from a smoke-free house. I sometimes sell my jewelry to stores. Unfortunately, I don't advertise my site very well so not many people know about it...
What's the reason for naming my website "The Blue Bead"? The world is like a big blue bead that sometimes feels as though there's a big hole in it... plus I always have a blue bead on one of my dreads =).
