untitled
Memory wire bracelets: Memory wire is basically what its name suggests: It's a circle of metal that, when opened and stretched apart, will always go back to its original shape. Obviously, if you pull the ends really far apart for a long time, the shape will eventually distort itself.

Please keep in mind that memory bracelets come in one size and are not suitable for young children with very small wrists, as the bracelet will probably fall off. I usually make children's bracelets with braided beading thread.

Also, keep in mind that, like many bracelets, they can be difficult for some to put on with one hand (actually, memory wire bracelets are a little harder to clasp on with one hand) so having a friend or a family member to put them on for you can fix the problem if you can't get the hang of it.

Memory wire bracelets that make more than a full turn don't need any clasps because they stay in place on their own! (See Twisties)
